The Flying Trout Boutique Lodge is superbly elevated, overlooking the stunning waters of Lake Taupo. It is home to three beautifully decorated luxury suites, accommodating up to six guests at a time and catering to your every need.

All suites provide the ultimate in comfort for the duration of your stay. King sized beds with 1,000 thread count linen with all ensuite's offering the pampering Koha Spa Range you will feel as if you're at home away from home. Afternoon tea is served on your arrival with home made baking.
Deluxe Tui Lakeview Suite - Enjoying mountain and lake views, this top level suite is incredibly spacious and boasts a large ensuite with double showers and double vanities, a beautiful spa bath for two overlooking Lake Taupo. Flat screen TV with DVD player,free wireless broadband internet, the suite has it's own private balcony to relax on with extensive beautiful views over the Lake and to the nightlights of Taupo in the evening.

Kea Garden Suite - This suite enjoys it's own private entrance and has a courtyard with water feature; a simply lovely place to relax in. Large and spacious, with modern tiled ensuite, king size bed. For your convenience a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV with DVD player, free wireless broadband internet.

Kakapo Garden Suite - This suite enjoys it's own private entrance and has a courtyard with water feature, a simply lovely place to relax in. Large and spacious, king sized bed, tiled ensuite with bath and shower. For your convenience a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV with DVD player, free wireless broadband internet.

The lodge itself features two guest lounges, each with ambient fireplace, creating an idyllic hideaway throughout the winter. In summer, dabble in a game of tennis or enjoy brunch overlooking the court, with the sun beaming off the lake behind. A private spa room is a superb escape at any time of year, as is the billiard room. Relax and unwind with a selection of premium wine and beer, while enjoying the picturesque vista to the surrounding mountains and lake.

Continental and a Fully cooked breakfast is included, with the choice to use the private dining room or al fresco on the patio, looking out to the Lake.

Dinner is available upon request and features a three-course meal of classic Kiwi cuisine, cleverly paired with award winning New Zealand wine. Or if you prefer, enjoy dining out at any of the sensational restaurants within a short distance to the lodge.

Cancellation Policy

If Cancelled greater than 7 days before arrival, 100 Percent of the total amount.

Bookit’s Amendments and Cancellations

Cancellation policies are specific to each supplier and are detailed on the payment confirmation page prior to final booking confirmation.

Bookit's non-refundable fee of NZD20.00 also applies to all cancellations regardless of the supplier’s cancellation policy.

Where you are entitled to a refund the refund will be made to the same credit card that you used to confirm the booking.

For amendments of bookings additional charges or a refund may apply depending on the nature of the booking amendment.

If you make a booking using a discount code you will not be able to use that discount code on any subsequent booking amendment. Amendments will be made using the normal price of the product being amended.
