All rates listed are in NZ dollars and inclusive of GST @ 15%.
All non-refundable bookings are pre-paid non-refundable and non-transferable.
CANCELLATIONS received prior to 3 days of scheduled arrival will incur no charge/s.??For cancellations received within 3 days of arrival full cost of accommodation will be charged to the credit card supplied or invoiced to the guest.
We accept EFTPOS Visa Mastercard Cash and bank transfer.Please note there will be a 2.75% surcharge should you choose to pay by credit or debit card.
There's no charge for babies or toddlers. However Please note we don't have spare beds or baby cots.
Check-in from 13:00 to 19:00.After hours arrivals are welcome please contact the motel to arrange this.
Check out by 10am??on the day of departure. A later check-out may be possible please contact reception should you require this (a charge may apply).
An extension to the reservation term is a new booking and subject to availability. Any reduction in length of stay will be treated as a cancellation and subject to our standard cancellation policy.
Pets are not allowed.
SMOKING is not permitted in any of the rooms. Guests are welcome to smoke outside away from doorways and open windows. If smoking occurs within the rooms motel management reserves the right to charge specialist cleaning costs.
VISITORS are welcome but are not permitted on the premises after??10pm. We ask you to respect your fellow guests and noise must be kept to a minimum past this time. Parties and noisy gatherings are not permitted at Featherston Motel. Motel management reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest that does not comply with this rule.
DAMAGE/LOSS to the room or property of Featherston Motel whether intentional or accidental will be the full responsibility of the registered guest. Any charges incurred will be passed to the registered guest (including insurance excess) by debiting the credit card provided or by invoice.
PAYMENT TERMS:
Standard Rates - All reservations require a valid credit card. The credit card will not be debited but may be validated or pre-authorised (debit visa cards are accepted but must have a funds balance at all times otherwise booking may cancel). Full payment is required prior to departure unless arrangement has been made to invoice guests. Guest will be liable for all costs incurred recovering an overdue account.
Non-refundable Rates - The credit card may be debited for the full value of accommodation booked for the room type and room rate confirmed.

Covid Guidelines:
The New Zealand Government has yet to mandate the requirement that accommodation providers such as motels check Vacc Passports of guests.
Under the Covid guidelines we ask that:
We encourage guests to wear face masks when in the public spaces of the motel.If unable to wear one an exemption certificate must be shown.
Scanning of the QR code on arrival.
When talking to staff that the 2m distance rule be applied.
Wear a mask when entering our reception area or laundry.The Check-in form to be signed and the name of any accompanying guest must be included on the reservation.
Housekeeping/servicing when guests are present - we ask that they kindly vacate the room to enable servicing to be undertaken.
All friends or visitors to guests staying are required to check in at Reception to notify us that they are on-site.
Please Wash or sanitise your hands regularly.

WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.
Coin Operated Self Service Washing and drying machines are available on site
